LEED Exams Update – Important Dates (2026)

If you are preparing based on LEED v4, note the following deadlines:

1️LEED Green Associate

You must book and take the exam before 28 April 2026.
After this date, exams move to LEED v5.

2️LEED AP with Specialty

You must book and take the exam before 28 June 2026.
After this date, you will take the exam under LEED v5.

3️During registration you will see these options

Opt in to take the LEED v5 beta exam
Continue with the standard exam registration

If you prepared using LEED v4 materials:
Do NOT select LEED v5 Beta
Choose Continue with the standard exam registration.

4️What happens after LEED v5 starts

LEED v5 exams begin.
Exam results may be delayed for three months or more, because the exam will be in a testing and score-adjustment (calibration) phase.
